Not much going on here. I am at work today and it is like a ghost town here. So I brought my laptop in and have been watching DVDs all morning. First I watched Fast Times at Ridgemont High for about the 100th time. It still holds up as one funny fucking movie. Mr. Hand(Ray Walston) Rules. Now I am watching the Blues Brothers. I don't know but for some reason I feel like watching older comedies. They are classics. I think I'll watch Caddyshack next.
My in-laws took the kids this past weekend so that we could turn our old bedroom into a room for our son and the son who is on the way. It was hard work but I got it all done and it looks great. My son loved it. It was a big job but it all worked out great. I had to move our funiture downstairs, Rip up the old carpet, refinish the hardwood floor, spackle, sand and paint the walls, Move new furniture in, fix a broken window, and then decorate the room, all in two days but it got done. It looks totally different now. Very "While You Were Out" ish.
New years is kind of dull this year. No one would make any set plans so we are just going to a friends house to hang. It's my buddy Stew and his wife and kids house. Stew and I will probably get shitfaced down in his poolroom while the kids play upstairs so it should be fun. He has this killer poolroom with a full bar and a big screen tv and illegal cable. Nothing to do down there but drink, shoot pool, drink some more and watch free porn.
Well I must get back to my movie, Ray Charles is singin so I have to watch it.
