We got in touch with someone who wrote some songs for us recently and this could turn out to be a big development for us. We only had contact with this person through our management before. Our management was dragging their feet so we decided to contact this person ourselves to see what happens. This person who I will call nameless is very influential in Nashville and could really jumpstart things for us. He has written songs for some big artists and I mean big. Some of his songs went top ten. And i believe there are a coule of number ones in there as well. This could be a major thing for us and the good thing is that he really likes our sound and wants to work more with us. We'll see what happens. I hope that something happens this time. We have been so close to making it as they say so many times and its so hard to come down off of that high you get from the whole experience. I mean you get ready to change your life, you try not to get your hopes up but that is an imposibility. Then when it doesn't work out in the end you feel beaten and depressed knowing that you have to regroup and try another angle. It's a very hard thing to deal with. Being in the music business has been my only dream and passion for as long as I can remember. I remember being very small and putting on my Jackson Five record and using my GI Joe for a microphone, standing on my bed for a stage and singing my little heart out. It's always just been natural for me. I am most comfortable when I'm up on a stage. I just can't imagine what my life would be like without music.
Oh well, my fingers are crossed so all I can do is pray and see what happens. I'll try not to get my hopes up but it will be hard. When you meet people like this person who has acomplished so much it seems like a shoe in so you resign youself to the fact that this is it, This is the person who is going to take us all the way. I hope it is.
Later,ROB
