The other day I saw pictures of the latest beheading of Paul Johnson. This kind of thing really infuriates me to the point of Rage. I can only imagine his families reaction to all of this as well as the family of Nick Berg. I don't think I would be able to handle something that brutal happening to one of my family members. So as if I was'nt already pissed enough I decided to look into this some more. I saw videos from Iraq of of other Iraquis being tortured. It does'nt matter if it's an american ,an iraqui or whoever it's still barbaric and brutal. I saw one in particular that made my skin crawl. These prisoners who are blinfolded are told to kneel down and stick out their tounges. They have guns to their head so if they don't obey I'm sure they will be shot. They comply with the request and stick out their tounges. A masked man comes over with a big pair of tweezers and grabs the end of the tounge and proceeds to cut off the tounge with a razor blade in one quick motion. Then on to the next prisoner. You can see these prisoners reeling in pain. It's just truly disturbing. And thet was one of the less disfiguring tortures that I saw. They also chopped off fingers and amputated limbs and all kinds of sick shit. What Kind Of Fucking World Is This. I laid in bed with these images running through my head for a long time that night all the time thinking how I knew that this stuff went on but never really knew for sure what it was. Now I could get all political and give my views about what I think should be done about this sort of thing but I won't. My political views and beliefs won't change the fact that there are truly evil people in this world who think that beheading a person or torturing them in some grotesque way is justice. I was truly disturbed by what I saw but was really glad that I saw it. I don't think that this kind of thing should be hidden from our eyes. Life is not all music videos and reality shows. Life in this world is fucking brutal for many people. If it can't be seen how can it be addressed. I think it is my right to see what goes on in this world whether beautiful or brutal.
