Yes we did it again. My buddy and I won the 7th annual horse shoe tournament. Team Guinness is once again victorious. This is the third time in five years that we won. We can't really figure out why we win. I mean we're not really that good. I think I had four ringers all day and my partner had about the same with a leaner or two. We just point them to death I guess. Every other shoe is a point. I think they all want to beat us so bad that they end up fucking themselves up. We go in with the attitude that we won't win and for some strange reason we do. And the competition is pretty stiff. One of the guys had 6 ringers in one game. His partner just had a shitty game and they ended up losing. The second round games go to 21. But what can I say. My partner and I play very well together. When I'm not throwing very well he picks up the slack and vice versa. So we are the champions my friends. It's so funny to hear everyone else talking under their breath about us too. Stuff like "I hope they loose big this game" and when we were down in one game someone said " It looks like team Guiness is drowning in their Beer". That remark was followed by a Ringer By me I might add. It was sort of a " Fuck You!" ringer. It's so funny to me that people get really pissed off when they loose especially people who are your friends. We don't take it seriously at all. We make it a point not to throw a hourse shoe all year. We only play on Tounament day. This way people can't say " oh they practice all the time thats why they won". Like I said...We just get lucky I guess. I can't wait till next year to see what people say about us throughout the day. It will be another year with team Guinness as defending champs. And to be honest i could care less who wins....it's just a fun day for me.
Well anyway, back to work. One day a champion and the next a slave to the workplace. Life really is fucked up ya know
later,ROB
