Been a long time since I last updated. Let's see......Ah Yes.....Shae stadium! It all went really well. The attendance was pretty low, I think they said about twelve thousand but who wants to go see the Mets this year. And they lost that night but we had fun anyway. We got to meet a few players so that was cool. We met Todd Zeile, the up and coming David Wright and Steve Trachsel. They were all really nice. So basically it was a fun day. And wouldn't you have it, Baba Booey threw out the first pitch. If you read my last entry you'd know why that is interesting. Anyhoo, it was great.
The weekend was O.K.. We didn't do much. We're trying to save every penny because on the 18th of september we're taking the kids to Disney World. That is if it's still there with all of these fucking hurricanes happening. I really feel for the people who live there. I mean they are getting slammed. I can't wait to go though. I havn't had a week off since last summer and believe me, I need a week off. It will be so much fun. We don't go to the parks everyday like most people. We take like three days at the parks and relax the rest of the week. I play golf one or two days and we hang by the pool for a day or two so It feels like a vacation. I have a friend who's wife is like the Disney Nazi. They are up and out by 6:30 am and home at 10:00pm everyday at the parks. Fuck That! That's not a vacation. And she has an schedule that they follow. It's like:
7:04am arrive at Magic Kingdom
7:07am Tea cup ride
7:12am Dumbo Ride
7:18am-7:20am Restroom Visit
It's re-goddamned-diculous!
The highlight of my week will be leaving the kids with the in-laws at the condo and going to the Beirgarten in Germany at Epcot or the Rose and Crown Pub in England but only after eating in Mexico. Totally by coincidence close friends of ours are going the same week and they are staying at the same place. Orange Lakes is the name of the place. It's my buddy Stew and his wife and two kids and his in-laws. So I have a drinking buddy all week. That is awesome. I love the beirgarten there. The food is great and they have authentic German beir. They also have little stands outside where you can buy Jager shots and other beverages. It rules.
Well I must stop day dreaming about vacation and get back to work. Wow, look at that, It's lunch time already. I'll work Later.
