Chicks!
Yes we played at Chicks in Hummelstown Pa. this weekend again. It was actually a great time and for some reason this time my Marriage was put to the test a number of times. Why this time I don't know. I didn't dress any different or wear a different calogne. Very puzzling. It was hot as hell in there and I was sweating like a pig singing behind that drumset but I'm pretty sure that sweat isn't that appealing. Unless of course it's sweet sweat, you know the kind of sweat that comes with an intense session of steamy sex. With that said I am happy to say that I havn't changed my status to "Cheater". I am proud to say that I didn't even have the desire to act on any of these proposals. And rightly so. I love my wife and I can't imagine even being with someone else that way. I can't say that I never would cheat I mean who the hell knows. What if in 15 years the wife and I can't stand the sight of eachother, I don't see that happening but you never know. I mean people change and you just never know. Or if Carmen Electra finally decides that she wants to bed me down. Any way it all made me feel really good and I was totally flattered by all the attention I recieved from the ladies.
The place was packed so full that getting a drink was near impossible. The crowd must have managed to get drinks though because there were a lot of fucked up people out there. I have always said we should change our name to the drunk band or something like that. Maybe it's the song selection but people get really fucked up when we play in a bar or club. I have seen tons of bands in bars but have never seen so many drunk people in one place as when we play. It's a compliment I guess. At least we know that they're having a good time, Or maybe they're trying to put themselves out of misery at the sound of us. I'd like to think it's the first explanation.
And back to work. Love and addoration one day and slave labor the next. My life is up and down to the extreme. I was so glad to see the kids and the wife after the weekend. We had a great time on sunday just doing stuff around the house. My father came down from Maine to visit on sunday so it was nice to see him as well. The kids love their Pappy. My mother had to stay to do some things so we didn't get to see her but we are heading up there on thursday to see them. We have to go to a wedding in Massachusets on saturday so we're going early to spend some time with my folks. They're going to watch the kids for us on Saturday night and then it's back home on sunday. A lot of driving but it will be worth it. The wife and I actually will have a night alone in a hotel room. I can't tell you the last time that happened. I can't wait. I'll stock up on vitamin e.
Well, as much as I don't want to, I must get back to work.
