I have been trying to update in this diary all week and every time I start to I get interupted. I was going to write about how the sunshine and great weather lately has really put me in a great mood. Of coarse today it's all cold and overcast and rainy so there goes that fucking Idea. I'm not going to complain though. I've been doing a lot of complaining in this diary as of late. Today my attitude is positive , think only good thoughts, don't let things bother me today, concentrate on all of the good things in my life. And Hey, I took tomorrow off so I have that to look forward to as well. I feel like getting some shit off of my chest right now but that will just put me in a bad mood. No......I'm in a good mood today, hell, I might even have a few drinks tonight and just chill at home. It's been a while since I have been able to do that. I smell a drunken entry in my near future.
The past weekend was a lot of fun. We (the Band) usually play on memorial day weekend but this year we didn't. We had the whole weekend to just hang out. It was really nice for a change. We went to this beach club that we always go to. We sparked up the grill and drank beer and played horseshoes and played with the kids and went swimming and pretty much did everything else associated with memorial day weekend. It was really nice to have absolutely nothing to do. I did what I felt like doing. My kids had a great time and so did my wife. Oh we did have to go to a wedding on Saturday night so the weekend wasn't entirely free but that was an pretty good time as well. My wife doesn't drink all that much anymore(we never have a chance to go out) so after a few glasses of red wine she was fucking plastred. She was a mess by the time we finally got home from the wedding. Let's just say It was like having four kids instead of three that night. And did you know that red wine looks the same coming out as it does going in. Not a fun night. I did my husbandly duty and held her hair for her and then got her PJ's on and tucked her in bed and placed the obligatory bucket by the side of the bed. She woke up feeling fine which I was amazed to see.
This weekend will be pretty quiet as well so I'm really looking forward to it.
