Vacation, All I Ever Wanted

Yes three more days and I will be on my way up to Maine for two weeks of relaxing vacation. No Roller coasters or giant Mickey's and Goofys anywhere to be found. Not that I don't enjoy Disney with the kids. It's just that to me thats not a relaxing vacation. This time next week I will be neck deep in a spring fed lake basking in the natural beauty of Maine. Or I'll be in Bar Harbor at this place sucking down a few Pints of Bass Ale or Guiness or some other frothy alcoholic beverage. Here's a picture of me two years ago at said establishment singing with the band after many pints of one or both of the previously named beverages.
Anyway..... I can't fucking wait. And believe me It's gonna be a well needed vacation. here is all I have done since last weekend.
Sun. 5/19 Fathers day Pretty relaxing
Mon. 5/20 Started work at 7:00am pulled a double until 12:30am.
Tues. 5/21 see monday
Wed. 5/22 Worked a full day and had the evening off.
Thurs. 5/23 Worked a full day and sang that night for a private party at this place. Got home 12:30 am
Fri. 5/24 Worked all day and then drove down to the shore. went out later for a b-day party to this place. Liked the old Bamboo better.
Sat. 5/25 Got to play with the kids all day then went to another b-day party that night.
Sun. 5/26 had to go to a christening party and then drive back home.
Today 5/27 see monday and tuesday 5/20 and 5/21. Today is my 7th wedding anniversary
tues. 5/28 See monday and tuesday 5/20 and 5/21.
Wed. 5/29 Work a full day then go home and Pack for Vacation.
Thurs. 5/30 work a full day and then head on up to maine right after work.
So you can see I have been a bit busy. Now I usually dig the whole party on the weekend thing but there have been so many parties so far this summer that i havn't had a chance to do much else. And it's hard on the wallet as well, We figured out that we have dropped almost $2,000 bucks on gifts in the past month alone. That includes weddings and christenings and not to mention communion parties. Holy shit! pardon my french but Holy Fucking Shit.
Oh well I'll have lots of time in the next couple of weeks to think about all of that shit while I'm reeling in a ten pound Brown Trout.(Catch and Release)I don't eat em. I'll try and write another entry before I go so for now,
