No Cancer In This House!
It's been a long while since I have written in here. There is good reason though. My wife had to have her thyroid removed and it took some time for us to get back to normal after the surgery. It's a pretty common surgery but her case was pretty bad. The growths on her thyroid were pretty large. Surgery took 5 1/2 hours. After the surgery was over The doctor came to talk to me and said that if he had to guess he would say that the growths were cancerous. They would have to do some more testing before they could be sure. As soon as he found out he would let us know. Well we waited and waited and finally after three and a half weeks on pins and needles we found out that it wasn't cancer. It was
Hashimotos thyroiditis all the way. Luv Ya Hashi! The growths were non cancerous. So that is a relief. I mean throid cancer is one of the most cureable cancers that exists but she would have had to go through some radiation trearment and shit like that if it turned out to be cancer. So all is back to normal at the old Rob household. The kids are glad to have their Mom back in full form and I am glad that she is o.K.. My god I was so worried for her. I can't stand to see her having to go through all of this shit. She means everything to me and I'm glad she's alright. She is as tuff as nails my wife. She amazes me with her strength and willingness to do what it takes to make things right. I love her.
Any way, here I am back at work thinking only of her and my family and how important they all are to me. They all stepped up to the plate to help out these past few weeks and I am so grateful for all that they have done for us. It's nice to be cared about.
